Sponges naturally grow in the ocean.  In the Atlantic Ocean, on Florida coasts, sponge farming has become a sustainable trade. Wild sponge harvesting, the way it has been done in the Mediterranean, left the sponge population in critical condition and is not sustainable.  I love these ‘silk’ sponges and the fact that they grow on a farm in the ocean and are a great support to the eco-system.

These sponges are called 'silky' for a reason. Once you soak them in water their texture turns to most delicate silk. There is nothing better than to cleanse your face with something that feels amazing.

When dry this sponge can be used to apply any of our nourishing + hydrating face masks:

or help with with either of our exfoliations: BE.BALANCED or BE.RADIANT. When wet, it is perfect for cleansing skin. It will last a while if you rinse it after every use.
