This October, the Pink Pony Club is taking on Pledge the Pink—a 30-mile journey across Fripp Island and its neighboring gems—and we need your support!

Our team is more than just a group of walkers; we’re a sisterhood, a family, a force of nature. We're walking for a cause that’s deeply personal to all of us, and we’re especially proud to have two incredible breast cancer survivors on our team—their strength fuels every step we take.

To add a little sparkle to our fundraising, we’ve created a special candle with a flirty, fun scent just like the Pink Pony Club! More than just a fragrance, it’s a symbol of the joy, camaraderie, and resilience that drive us. Every candle sold brings us closer to our goal and helps fund vital breast cancer research. Join us in making a difference.

Together, we can turn every step into hope. - The Pink Pony Club

Kara Byrd: For me, this challenge is also personal. After undergoing two knee replacements last year, I’m determined to prove that anything is possible. I'm training hard to conquer 10 miles a day, and your support means everything.

Janine O'Sullivan: I'm walking as a survivor and to support those currently suffering.

Amy Gies: I am walking this year to support my friends and family who have been affected by breast cancer. I am also walking to celebrate the power of friendship and the strong bonds between women - connections that inspire change and make a difference.

Mary Nielsen: I am walking as a survivor because others cannot.

Gabby Byrd: I'm doing Pledge the Pink because I'm a woman who supports women and every single victim of breast cancer should have the chance to receive the proper care it takes to keep them supported!

Aubrey Byrd: I am walking to recognize the strength of those who have survived and to honor those we have lost.

Vicki O'Hanlon: I am a retired recovery room nurse. My breast cancer patients have always held a special place in my heart. My goal was to make them as comfortable as possible. It has been my pleasure and blessing to play a small part in their healing journey.

Ellie Gies: I’m walking to honor survivors, support those battling, and help the fight against breast cancer.

Jo Little: I’m walking for my grandmother and for friends and family who are survivors.

Jill Gonthier: I’m walking for my sisters, daughters, granddaughter and friends. I walk for the survivors and for those who did not.

Becky O'Sullivan: I’m walking for my mother, a survivor and the strongest woman I know. I’m also walking for those who are not able to.
